The Kingswood has long been associated with restoring vigour to weary bodies. It was formerly the renowned Sidmouth Brine Baths, famed for its spa qualities. Today we find our guests prefer the comfort and benefits of the thoughtfully appointed bedrooms.
The hotel is decorated in keeping with its Victorian origins providing tastefully furnished bedrooms, each with individual style and having the benefit of double glazing and fully adjustable heating. Typically for a building of this era, the layout of rooms varies in style, size and character. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities, a colour television, tea and coffee making facilities, direct-dial telephones and radio. Superior sea-facing rooms have a private balcony, bay or picture window.
We place great emphasis on providing a menu that offers a broad choice. Local fish, meat and dairy products are used in both traditional and regional recipes.
